Auf der Morgenfahrt sehen wir nicht viel neues, ein paar kämpfende Gnus, Strausse und Springböcke. Wir haben wieder unser Frühstück im Busch, das macht immer sehr viel Spaß.

On our morningdrive, there is not much happening, a few fighting Wilderbiest, Austrich and Springboks. We have breakfast outside again, this si always a lot of fun.

Da wir nicht viele große Viecher sehen, konzentrieren wir uns auf die kleinen, das geht auch.

As we do not see many big animals, we concentrate on the small ones.

Oder auch auf Vögel, wie diesen Sekretätsvogel.

Or on the birds, like this secretary bird.

Am Nachmittag machen wir uns fertig, da ereilt uns eine böse Überraschung, Toni und Ingrid kommen um die Ecke, die beiden Holländer die uns seit Lusaka verfolgen. 🙂 Sie haben wir schon gehört als Sie 5 km vorher abgebogen sind.

Das wird dann noch lustig.

We get ready for our afternoon drive, as we get a bad surprise. Toni and Ingrid coming arround the corner, the two Dutch that are stalking us since Lusaka. 🙂 We heard her as they turned the corner 5k up the road. This shall be funny then.

Wir nehmen diesmal die Nossob Road und fahren bis zur Umleitung. Da diese sehr schmal ist, müßte ich sie komplett fahren weil ich nicht drehen kann. Just als wir umdrehen wollen sehen wir 200m weiter etwas sich bewegen.

We take the Nossob Road and drive to the deviation. As this is tight and i cannot turn anyway, i would have to drive it to the end. Just as we turn, we see something moving.

Der liegt 2m von der Strasse weg und ihm ist warm. Es ist nicht der gleiche wie gestern, der hier hat eine Narbe am Oberschenkel.

He rests 2m off the road and he is hot. It is not the same as the one from yesterday, this one has a scar on his upper leg.

Barbaras Versuche seine Aufmerksamkeit zu erhaschen sind nur teils von Erfolg gekrönt, aber manchmal guckt er uns an. Sie macht die Scheibe lieber ein bißchen höher.

Barbars efforts t get his attention are only partly paying off, but sometimes he looks at us. She then winds her window a bit higher.

Jetzt wird es ihm aber zu laut und er haut ab, nicht ohne uns nochmal den Blick zu geben.

Now it gets to noisy for him and he pisses off, but not witout a last stare.

Und ein bißchen weiter futtert diese Herde Orixe ganz in Ruhe das Abendessen, ob die wohl wissen wer da nicht weit weg rumäuft.

And little way down, this herd of Orix has her Dinner. If they know who is running upstream.
