Nach einer angenehmen Nacht sind wir ohne Frühstück und Dusche unterwegs und erfreuen uns an dem goldenen Licht am Morgen. Wir fahren heute 120km bis nach Mata Mata, das nördlichste Camp.
After a pleasant night we are on the road without breakkie and shower and have fun watching the golden light of the early morning.
Das sind die ersten wilden Tiere die wir heute zu Gesicht bekommen.
These are the first wild animals that we get to see this morning.
Kurz danach stehen wir in einer Gruppe von Gnus, die sind nicht so scheu wie im Krüger. Es gibt überall Aktion, wo immer wir auch hinsehen wird gerannt, gegessen, gekämpft und was weiß ich was die alles so machen.
Shortly after we park in a group of Wilderbiest, which are not as shy as the ones in Krüger. Everywhere we look, there is action, they run, eat, fight and whatever else they are doing.
Die müssen doch öfter Kopfweh haben, so wie die zusammen knallen.
They would have headache more often, the way the crash into each other.
Ein Stück weiter sehen wir gerade noch wie 4 Geparden den Hang runterkommen, offensichtlich auf der Suche nach was zu essen. Die Gnus sind nicht so weit weg, ein Erwachsenes ist wohl zu groß, aber die Kleinen werden passen.
A short step further one, we just recognize 4 Cheetahs coming over the ridge into the valley, obviosly hunting, the Wilderbiest are not that far away. A grown up would be too big, but the little ones are a nice snack.
Wir bleiben stehen und sie kommen direkt auf und zu und laufen 3m neben dem Auto lang.
We stop and they comes straight towards us and pass the car in 3m.
Der Schatten ist der von der Zicke, so nah sind die dran.
The shadow is the one of the bitch, that close are they.
Wir drehen dann rum und folgen ihnen 1-2 Kilometer das Tal entlang. Irgendwann verschwinden sie auf der anderen Talseite. Das war aber schon mal ziemlich gut.
We turn around and follow them down the valley for a 1-2km. At some point they just disappear over the other ridge. But that was pretty good for a start.
So schöne elegante Tiere.

Frühstück haben wir dann im freien. Keine Zäune, gelegentlich kommt auch mal eine Löwe vorbei.
Breakfast outside. No fences and some times a Lions passes through.
Es gibt hier auch Kudos, die hier haben noch größere Ohren.
There are also Kudos here, but these have even bigger ears.
So alle paar Kilometer treffen wir wir auf andere Tiere, manchmal mit Kleinen.
Every few Kilometer we meet another bunch of animals, this times with smalls.
Und sogar Giraffen gibts hier.
And there are some Giraffes.
Am Camp angekommen werden wir relativ schnell von Bettlern angemacht. Trotz diverser Schilder, dass man niemand füttern soll, betteln sie nicht vergebens.
Arriving at the Camp, we are surround by beggers very quickly. Despite several signs, that you should not feed them, they do not beg in vain.
Ein Mungo wartet auch auf Essen.
